Terms and conditions
The plain terms for using the Locksmith Listing directory.
These terms cover your use of locksmithlisting.com. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What this site is
Locksmith Listing is a free directory. It lists locksmith businesses across the United States with the contact details, hours and ratings we could confirm. It also carries free guides for customers and free courses for the trade.
We are not a locksmith. We do not perform, sell or arrange locksmith work. When you call a business listed here, you are dealing with that business and not with us.
The businesses listed here
Every business in the directory is independent. We do not employ, license, inspect or vouch for any of them. A listing, a badge or a rating is not a recommendation and not a guarantee.
Before you hire anyone, confirm that they hold the license and the insurance your state and your job require. Get the total price in writing before work starts.
How current the details are
We check phone numbers where we can and mark those listings as verified. Details still change without notice, so treat every phone number, address and opening time as a starting point to confirm.
Ratings and review counts belong to whoever wrote them. We do not write reviews and we do not change the numbers.
Your use of the site
- You may browse, search and share links to any page.
- You may not copy the directory in bulk, scrape it, or resell the data.
- You may not use the site to send spam or to harm any business listed on it.
- You may not try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site.
Listings you add or claim
If you add or claim a listing, you confirm that you are allowed to act for that business and that what you submit is true. We can edit, move or remove any listing at any time, including paid ones, if it is wrong, misleading or breaks these terms. Paid placements run for the period shown on the plans page and do not renew on their own.
Free courses and guides
The courses and guides are general education. They are not professional, legal or safety advice for your situation. Locksmith work is licensed in many states. Check your local law before you do any of it for pay.
No warranty and limits on liability
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available, complete or free of errors. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or from any business you find through it. In any case, our total liability to you for all claims taken together is limited to $800.
Changes
We may change these terms. The current version is always at this address. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
